So, October has been insane.
I’m not sure if I’ve ever been this busy at home and work simultaneously, which is why you haven’t heard from me in a while. And will continue to barely hear from me over the next few weeks.
While writing is my passion, it can’t be prioritized over the other events going on. This pains me! My cathartic, geeky hobby being shunted aside for ‘Adulting.’ Yet, it does at least feel better saying (writing) it out loud in full admission, along with this promise to get back to my blog as soon as I can. There’s quite a few topics in my queue to write about so the plan is to be back up and running early November.
I do have a silver lining – a novel idea came to me and I’ve begun slowly moving through the outlining process! It’s been a long while since I’ve focused on bigger stories, having buried myself in short stories the past few years. When relevant, I will definitely provide some brief updates, along with any lessons I’ve learned along the way.
That’s it for now! I think I’m now behind on 3 other tasks so I better get to it. My Twitter feed is also relatively quiet for the same vague Work/Life reasons but I’ll try to keep engaged when possible.
