Publishing Update – Green Ghost of Honeypot

Readers, it’s such a joy to tell you that my short story, Green Ghost of Honeypot, is included in the July 2021 issue of Schlock!

Green Ghost of Honeypot is about a mother marooned on a distant planet, fighting to survive so she can be reunited with her children. There’s many danger that await Mara…

When it comes to genre, what’s better than sci-fi? Nothing! This one isn’t too much of a curveball, crash landings on desolate alien worlds is a staple of science fiction. Here, I put my first-published female protagonist to the test, and it felt like a breath of fresh air. To be totally transparent, Mara’s tale ended very poorly for her draft after draft until I finally thought up the “Green Ghost” aspect. Now, I could potentially see her story continuing in future writings.

Schlock Webzine is a monthly British long-running publisher of really crazy stories, whether they are sci-fi, horror, or otherwise. If you want something weird, a story that’ll keep you up at night, this is the place for you. They will even publish serialized stories that are split up amongst multiple issues. Please check them out!
